	Salima Umatiya, founder of Umatiya Law, PLLC, practices primarily in Business Transactions, Commercial Litigation, and Business Law. Salima Umatiya attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. After graduating, she attended South Texas College of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2007. During her legal studies, she completed extensive research in International Law, including laws governing international contracts and international contract litigation. In addition, she attended Charles University Faculty of Law in Prague, Czech Republic where she focused on International Business Transactions and International Criminal Law. Aside from managing the operations of Umatiya Law, Mrs. Umatiya is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs, and South Asian Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys traveling, reading, playing intramural sports, and volunteering her time with several professional networks.
